1940s weekend
The town turned out in style this last weekend to celebrate the 1940s. Lots of the shops had war time displays complete with taped up windows. Lots of people walking around in period dress and uniform.

Not very sheepish
Usually out walking, when we come across sheep, they run in panic. However, walking down by the River Tees yesterday we came across a couple of sheep that ran towards us at top speed.

House. SOLD!
We finally sold our house in Merthyr Tydfil last month. So Nicky has been busy on Right Move looking for a house for us. Looks like Startforth may be a good place. Watch this space.

Return to Beamish
We went back to Beamish, making the most of our tickets that allow free return entry for 1 year.
It was midweek, so a lot quieter, which was fine as it gave me a better chance to take photos. There is still a lot to see on the 2nd visit, and a bit less of a crowd to see it.
